DRĖĖĖMY (the sonic project of Reem Abdou) is a genre-bending world-fusion sound artist and ethnomusicologist, mindful movement & meditation teacher, and conscious community catalyst. She is the founder of the NYC-based women's music, arts, wellness, environmental, and social justice movement The Collective BAE, and the co-creator of BASSyoga.

As an Egyptian-American, her sound is an Organic Electronica — an intentional, transnational communication of soul vibration: global rhythms, earthy basslines, natural atmospheres, forgotten instruments, traditional ancestral voices, tribal invocations — Ancient Sounds and Future Beats made for Remembering & Envisioning.

Inspired by the healing, meta-physical power of sound, her journeys are unexpected, fusing and layering tempos & cultural wisdoms, because they're meant for primal and meditative movement — a deep sense of exploration, liberated expression, and conscious awareness.
