It all began in 1999 with 2 Turntables and 2-channel mixer.

Shortly after, Dr. Base, B-Bonix, and Kiddwrek created "Structured Muziq" featuring local Chicagoland DJ's and events.  In 2007, Dr. Base veered off into his solo career, obtaining two residencies in major venues in the Chicagoland area.  Later in 2007, he was invited to Mexico, off the Sea of Cortez, to DJ a beach party! "It was a festival feel for the first time in my life and I must say, it was the most exhilarating experience of my life! That event solidified all the hard  work and dedication I personally put into the art of DJing!  I wouldn’t  trade it for the world!" 

His style mostly consists of Techy House Grooves with a side a Funk!
