In the late 90’s Doug discovered the underground music scene in San Francisco. The amazing vibe was too powerful to ignore. Every weekend he would travel 3 hours to the city in search of the best parties. Hitting all the big warehouse parties, and finding record stores was a weekly trek. Eventually he discovered there was also a slightly more organized club scene at venues like 1015 Folsom, EndUP and VSF.. Soon faces became familiar and great friendships were forged on the dance floor. It became clear he was living in the wrong city and he decided it was time to move to SF.
