As their name suggests, Double_Negative are a positive force within the New Zealand breakbeat scene. The lads, John Henderson and NickGardner met at an audio engineering course way back in 2002 and have made some waves in the breakbeat scene ever since. They began with drum n bass tunes, then progressed to producing solid, original breaks/midtempo tunes which have formed a unique sound, some dark and techy, others atmospheric and melodic, but altogether their own.
