Hi my name is Dorian Delia and I am a singer and musician from Mauritius. I played music all my life and i have recorded 2 albums. One called tiffani and the other one Tifila. In mauritius i used to work in entertainment, doing sega cabarets, in the hotels all around the island.
Here in Uk, I am the main singer of 2 bands. One is the traditional sega group called Jalsa des Iles and the other one is the instrumental band that we call the modern sega called Omaz.
I created Jalsa des Iles group about a year ago mainly because there was a demand of real traditonal sega here in europe. Our group is consisted of 3 ravannes players, 1 maravannes, 1 triangle, 1 djembe and of course our lovely sega dancers.
Since then our group has travelled and performed all over Europe mainly France, Belgium and Switzerland and UK of course! we do perform for any occasion: weddings, birthdays, festivals and even on football pitches depending on our customers request.
