It was in 2016 that Dorbachov moved into the niche area of Live Modular sets. He took these sets and effortlessly formulated them into tracks which were quickly picked up by several reputable labels including Distrackt, Wunderblock, UKR Special series, and Room 2. Dorbachov’s talents in the studio have also spread into publishing with a remix for Channel 4’s acclaimed cult-series ‘Utopia’.
Dorbachov has made a steady return to playing out, with both his Live Hardware and DJ sets of engaging, intelligent heavyweight techno gaining popularity, with bookings across the UK including North London techno institution ‘The Cause’.
It has been a real show of restraint and maturity to enter the industry in the route that he has. Letting his music speak foremost, it is this that has rightly opened the door. With several bookings and a planned release schedule, it is guaranteed to be another huge year for Damien and his Dorbachov brand.
