Little Treasure, Vinyl Selector:
I was born and raised in Oakland, CA, surrounded by my parent’s collection of albums and 45s, I developed a natural love for playing and caring for vinyl. I started collecting my own new wave, post punk and synth pop records as a young teenager in the 80s, and have expanded my collection since then. I love the new darkwave and coldwave bands as well! My sets are reminiscent of the diverse and alternative “Mod” subculture sound brought forth by Bay Area DJs on Live 105 in 1987, 88, and 89. Sometimes, I include some "surprise" Spanish language tracks reflecting some of my favorites from my parents' collection.
