Ivan Acosta better known as DJ World Famous started his career in the Bronx, NY. Being in the Mecca of where music lives and having a family that loved music he gained his appreciation of the art at an early age.
He began by learning the craft like the old saying goes "With 2 turntables and a mic." He started honing his craft in NYC night clubs like Rhythm Factory, Fever & Act III. He then moved into the mobile industry and quickly became a great "Party DJ" as well as "Club DJ".
In the late 90's he began polishing his skills as an MC. Being Bilingual allows him to cater to both the American & Latin cultures. He is one of the most sought out Bilingual MC's in the Tri-State area.
DJ World Famous has either MC'd, DJ'd or both for well over 3000 functions over the last 25 years. He has always said every party expands his knowledge on how to make a party great. He is not a "cookie cutter" DJ and prides himself playing music that you have heard at every party you've attended.
