Joe started DJing in July 2002 and took only a few months to master beat mixing.
In October 2004, Joe became a member of the Plymouth DJ Society (PDJS). His biggest break came when he was asked to provide a warm-up set for Radio 1 House DJ, Daniel Bailey.
Joe joined the PDJS again in September 2006 and was voted a committee member. His main role was to organise a monthly Saturday night at the Student Union and also organised PDJS members to warm-up for guest DJ’s.
Joe completed a one-year audio production course in 2008 in which he achieved a distinction grade. In 2010 he played out at Pitcher & Piano, Tunbridge Wells and Liquid, Maidstone.
At the end of February 2011, Joe attended a one-day intensive course at the Ministry of Sound DJ Academy in London, which led to him playing a number of sets at various Ministry of Sound warm up parties throughout March 2011.
In 2012 Joe secured a weekly residency at TN4 bar in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, which lasted for over 2 years.
