Born and raised in New York City, I got my first gig in 1986 during college in Upstate New York (SUNY Binghamton). After college, I decided to go back to NYC to seek out a gig in a nightclub. To get my foot in the door, I started working in a club bar-backing. While it took some time, I persevered and landed a resident spot at club 58 (now known as The Web) in midtown Manhattan. During this time, I was fortunate enough to meet T-Pro. T became a good friend and soon brought me on-board. Because of this additional exposure I landed gigs at Champs, Uncle Charlie's, and the Tunnel NYC. My journey also landed me gigs in Washington DC.
Once in Washington DC, I was resident DJ at The Edge/Wet night club for Thursday “Latin Fiesta’” and Saturday’s Dance Party. Soon after I did periodic appearance at Tracks for Saturday’s “Drenched Saturday Party”, which landed me a regular Friday night gig at Tracks for Latin House Friday Night Decadence dance party.
