DJ Vernell Byrd started his journey in 2013. In a short time he has made some significant strides in his endeavor. Being a part of the Chi Town Triple Play on the Philly Nites Radio show was his first taste of playing where people could get a grasp of his skill-set.

Soon thereafter he was granted a residency at Club LaVue for a weekly house music set. His audience began to grow and he picked up another weekly residency at the South Loop Sport Lounge under his creation of SOul SATISFIED. Currently he holds residencies at House Music Friday’s at Club LaVue (2nd Friday’s), Thursday’s under The SOCIAL alongside George G-Spot Jackson at Darrin’s Lounge and House Music Happy Hour every Friday with River Rock Ent.

Vernell has been hired to travel outside of Chicago including cities such as Detroit, Dallas, Charleston, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Milwaukee and Indianapolis just to name a few. He has also had the opportunity to play alongside of the best DJ’s in the industry.
