A fixture in the underground and overground since the early 90's Val started his foray into dance music in 93' promoting and spinning his own renegades called Nocturnal Pursuit in San Francisco. He later joined Funky Tekno Tribe's promotion and marketing team till his move to the East Coast in late 95'. He continued to promote and play undergrounds and festivals in Boston, Ct., NYC, R.I. where he made is entry into the club scene. After 5 years in the East Coast he returned to San Francisco in 2000 where he runs his label Talkin' Soul and is also a DJ and Tastemaker for Giant Step.
