Tom James caught the musically transmitted disease of DJing long before he even owned his first set of turntables. He taught himself mixing skills on his parents hifi and a tape deck, utilising nothing more than its cassette players pause button and his hand on the hifi deck to recreate the sounds of club DJing. By the time he got his first decks he’d already honed the techniques ready to take on the world of his heroes. At the same time he was mastering the concept of DJing, He has mixed all genre of dance music, starting with jungle, techno, trance, hard house, funky house, and finally funk & funky breaks…….So what’s next?
