At the age of 21 years DJ Mack started spinning the decks at home for his own pleasure. Together with some friends he organised Techno parties in Antwerp city.
Back then in 2003 he was one of the founders of parties such as Dark Noize and Subterraneo.
These parties were known by the party crowd for their true underground Techno sound.

After a couple of years DJ Macks' taste in music started to evolve.
As an allround DJ he saw the importance of being able to play different styles of music.
Music may have been his first love and because of this he wanted to experiment with different kinds of electronic music.

When the intuitive system, Serato Scratch Live, popped up DJ Mack started playing house music and electro.
He especially adored the stronger electro beats such as known from artists as Sebastian, Boys Noize, etc.. In fact the whole Ed Banger family.

Now he likes to concentrate on his main goal and that is to play some happy house melodies.
