Born in Haarlem, Holland, Gee van D aka DJ The GEE’s long n’ living love for music jumpstarted at the young age of 6 as he received his first turntable, and a year later when he begun playing the flute and piano. Blending the influences of soul, funk and acquiring inspiration in the Hip Hop world from the likes of Boogie Down Productions (KRS-One, D-Nice, and DJ Scott La Rock), and all time favorite Jazz masters Miles Davis and James Brown.
