Biography for Competition:
Born in Washington D.C, raised in Temple Hills, Maryland. Started DJ'ing in 2008-09 until this present day. Some of my inspiration for DJ'ing comes from legendary DJ's like Craze, Qbert, A-Trak, Roc Raida, Jazzy Jeff, and Premier just to name a few. I taught myself how to DJ through watching the greats of the past and current times utilizing online sources and also attending varies events at clubs listening to local DJs. The primary genre of music that I spin is Hip Hop and R&B but i'll occasionally dip into other genres depending on how it sounds. Some other musical influences I have are A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Gangstarr, and Mobb Deep. In todays Hip Hop, lyrically, I like listening to Kendrick Lamar and Drake but I'm open to listening to other styles. Sometimes I'll catch myself listening to electronic music & pop but nothing to serious because I typically will listen to anything.
