In May of 2007, I was instrumental in setting up an internal stream based radio station at Rackspace called K-RACK and did so on a tiny budget. Since then, K-RACK has expanded to become both a company means for communication and a haven for DJs of all genres. Originally, my show centered around indie-alternative music. While I still very much enjoy indie-alternative, I switched to EDM in the fall of 2009 and began refining my skills at that time.
Since then, while I am still a consultant for K-RACK, I have moved onto other things with a greater focus on DJing EDM. My preferred styles generally revolve around vocal trance, though I also spin various progression house and, occasionally drun-n-bass. Though I am largely a controller DJ, I am slowly building up my vinyl setup to augment digital DJing. Not only is the sound unique with vinyl, but the tactile feedback cannot be matched and, I find, at least, that it is more fun.
