At age 14, while working as a lighting tech in an underage club, Spyke got his first taste of DJing. From there he was hooked. With a background in live music performance, he took to mixing naturally.
Cutting his teeth in the local clubs of his hometown, he was quickly recognised as a great DJ & was playing weekly residencies at Ballarats most popular clubs through the 90's.
At 19, he moved to Melbourne & started to build a name for himself in multiple scenes.
Since that time he has DJ'd in nightclubs, warehouses, stadiums, house parties, raves & local pubs.
He has mixed his magic for goths, gays, ravers, rockers & everything in between.
He has styled sets of house, breakbeat, hard trance, club, electro, industrial, metal & party music.
But he will give any style a go if it means taking a crowd on a journey with him.
And whatever style he's playing, you'll always hear his unique mash-ups & live remixes.
