After buying his first pair of turntables in 1996, J. Ohm aka DJ Spruce Bringsteen immediately became obsessed with vinyl records of all genres. Although he leans heavily towards hip hop and electronic music, rocking late 90's house parties required a wide range of styles and genres to please everyone. This led to his current style which relies heavily on an open format. Over the years Ohm has deejayed for artists like Awol One, Camp Lo, Dark Time Sunshine, Gel Rock, Gift of Gab, Grayskul, Myka 9, One Be Lo, R.A. the Rugged Man, Swamburger, and Vel The Wonder among others. He has shared the stage with Chicharones, Denitia, Living Legends, Mac Lethal, Myke Bogan, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, The Pharcyde, and Rahzel just to name a few. Having been on national and international tours, J. takes pride in a high level of entertainment and professionalism.
