Born Reza Nejad on February 9, 1987, is the youngest of four children. Soosk meaning "cockroach" in Farsi, was given this nickname as a child for being the darkest of his siblings . Having the influence of music from his older siblings DJ Soosk remembers hearing the sounds of Classic Rock, R&B, Oldies, Hip Hop, and even Persian music growing up. All of these genres would influence Reza's future career as a DJ.
