Brandon Young, a.k.a. DJ SKRIBE, is a native of Sioux City, Iowa who relocated to Phoenix, Arizona starting his deejay dreams in the late 1990’s, over the course of nearly 30 years becoming a genre-inclusive mix musician who has had the opportunity to do what he is passionate for. In 2008 Young started East Valley DJ Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona and continues to teach people of all ages how to mix and scratch professionally ever since, even upon his grand return to his hometown. Most people believe him to mainly be a hip-hop/scratch DJ because it is one of his pursuits but the truth is that he mixes anything and everything from country to rock, hip-hop to Latin to unite all people in his love of music and his ultimate goal to pass on all of his musical knowledge onto the next generation and more!
