DJ Skinz like most aspiring DJ's first started messing around with two turntables within the four walls of his bedroom.
Years of fine-tuning his skills as a DJ gave him confidence to seek out his first Club Resident DJ Post. His uncontested skills obtained him a resident spot at the legendary midweek club night Soul Kitchen, at the now titled Capitol Club in the heart of Londonís West End Leicester Square. Soul Kitchen was without doubt the hottest midweek R&B club night in London town and DJ Skinz was one of the DJís that made it the place to be seen.
After years of spinning to some of London's most elite ravers, DJ Skinz was headhunted to work at various London hot spots such as the notable Ministry Of Sound, Embassy, Indigo O2, Ko Ko, Funky Buddha and Runway. To make sure he never lost touch with the real street DJ Skinz did his fair share of house parties.
