Namibian-born DJ Rudi K’s (Rudi Koen) musical passion began in his teens, when he spent much of his time recording dance music from a local radio station, composing mix tapes and playing at school parties. In 2000, he started to live out his dream and played in various local night clubs including Equinox, O’ Kelly’s Pub (Swakopmund), Da Vinci’s and Club London to name a few.
In 2005, he decided to broaden his musical horizons, step out of his comfort zone and entered the wedding and corporate markets. It has been a growing and satisfactory experience for him ever since.
He has an incurable thirst for music of most genres, which makes him a very versatile DJ. Deeply passionate about giving joy to people through music by performing as a DJ, RU-D is one that has the ability to turn an ordinary night into a memorable one.
