About DJ Reebok: The nickname...originated in the early 80's when Ron bought numerous pairs of Reeboks in different colors, when they first were released. His homeboys he used to dance with at Studio K, in Knott's Berry Farm (Orange County, CA) were baggin’ on him saying..."look at him and his Reeboks...it's Reebok Ron...Ha-ha-ha it's Reebok Ron.”
DJ Reebok started his dj career playing “Old Skool and Hip Hop” in back yard parties in Santa Ana, CA. Soon to follow, DJ Reebok moved into the club scene at a club called Roaring 20's/Dazzles in Newport Beach, CA at a very young age.
Moving forward...Reebok started promoting and dj'ing with Unity Productions. He started the first Underground House Club “Deeper Love” to hit Orange County at Kokomo's in Irvine.
Then He decided to move on to bigger and better venues in Los Angeles. He played at such clubs as King, Sketch Pad, The Abyss, Shark Club, Does Your Mama Know, Carlos and Charlie's, Peanuts, Arena, etc.
