Future Soundz started in 2007 when, Australian born selector, Dj Rasta teamed up with Zimbabwean djs, Dj Dre & Dj Legalize while playing Hip Hop & R'n'B at a popular student night at Murdoch University.
The sound quickly turned their attention back to their musical roots in Reggae & Dancehall. Things progressed at a rapid pace, with the sound playing major Reggae gigs around Perth, including the infamous Fishermans Style.
On the 15th May 2009, Future Soundz entered the first Soundclash in WA in years, against Ras Movement sound & was victorious, leading to entry in the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble, included some of the biggest soundz in Perth including the oldest sound in WA, Jah Wisdom. Classified as the battle for the number one sound in Perth, Future Soundz took out the crown & with it the title.
Not content with the Perth scene, Dj Rasta travelled to Jamaica to play the infamous Fully Loaded. Fully Loaded, run by Bounty Killer & Industry Heavyweig
