Victor Rivera (born February 26, 1981) better known as Dj-Q was raised in San Francisco, California. He has been rocking’ the turntables since his early teen’s days with his father, also a dj. Almost every night of the week he would be practicing. Soon after, he started djing at house parties for free; it was this practice and experience that allowed him an easy transition to the club scene in early 2000. Although a big fan of all music genres like hip hop, house, alternate rock, Latin old school, and one of his favorite dj’s is “DJ AM” and Dj Santa Rosa. Over the years he started doing his own live mahsups, and begun to show up more and more in his sets. Soon after, he started doing Latin mashups, now he is known for having Latin flavor mix with hip hop, or hip hop with Latin.
