PR🎧PER ( DJ Proper ), is an American record producer, disc jockey, event host, video director, and civil rights / social justice activist originally from Staten Island, NYC and now resides in Los Angeles, California. He is a frequent collaborator with South African musical artist Eyezon, Andre Lafelle, Dice The Nicest, and main production partner Solpowa. He has produced numerous official remixes for musical icons such as the J Lamotta, Black Eyed Peas, Nas, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli. Proper’s production style has been described as festival-friendly timeless music, funky classical sounds with a new groundbreaking musical style, and is a turntablist know to perform with a hip hop style live band with a large horn section similar to James Brown.
