Paulyfish felt in love with electronic music at young age, under influence from groups like Kraftwerk, Front 242, New Order and Depeche Mode, among others. They started to crop up in his mind synthesizer’s sounds and the first electro-melodic tendencies.
At six he took keyboard lessons, but “dance” music from early 90’s was the guideline which led him to mix “covers pops” with techno or house rhythms using technical knowledge from his friends who worked as Dj’s at famous Mexico night clubs, his home city. Late into the decade he’d deeply involved himself in new born electronic music sub genres, influenced by artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Nick Warren and others. He started to play his first sets on friend’s parties and some warehouses’ “raves” in the capital.
Recently Paulyfish is collaborating in massive events planning, also entering on electronic production stage. He’ll release mixes, parallel to being present on Ibiza famous clubs at summer. #djpaulyfish
