Hailing from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Nuzen was converted into a house genre fan when he first saw Avicii live during his True Tour stop in Kuala Lumpur (2013). Previously, he was an avid fan of a subgenre of Drum & Bass called Liquid DnB wherein he fell in love with the melodic components.

Through Avicii's concert, Nuzen was introduced to the then mainstream progressive house now called Big Room Progressive House in which the energy and melody was blended in a beautiful harmony. Having had a taste of that, Nuzen started to dive into the world of modern electronic dance music that can provide that melodic euphoria.

As his taste developed, the mainstream appeal was lost and now Nuzen has found himself enjoying the more euphoric and melodic journey of underground electronic music primarily underground progressive house and techno. Notable influences includes Daft Punk, Eric Prydz, Axwell, Avicii, Guy J, and Jeremy Olander..
