I think Mixcloud Live would be perfect Nick.... And you could fit in with some of the other artists who already use the platform, i know sometimes after listening to Digweeds show live there are loads of people, including myself who are looking to carry the night on.... there is a market for it for sure, either before or after or if not maybe a different night altogether, either way its a great way to connect with your audience, plus you can upload your live mix onto your page pretty much straight away for people to either listen again or if they missed the live show can now listen to the mix whenever they get time to..... One good thing that has come out of 2020 and all the lockdowns is Mixcloud LIVE
How about showcase of new music by users that send you tracks? Not everyone can get into the Soundgarden label but with your help some of us yiung producers can maybe catch a break....
Hey Pepe, that's a good idea! I'm already playing a lot of the promos that I get sent, like you say we can only release so many tunes on The Soundgarden and I've been sent a lot of amazing music this year :)
Hello Nick. I already mentioned on your Instagram feed - would be awesome to have a leftfield Andrew Weatherall tribute set. I learned about him from your feed and have been listening to his sets. Absolutely unique talent.
I loved the Soundgarden mixes back in the Frisky Radio days - the ambient / downtempo / electronica you played was outstanding, and groundbreaking. At that time, almost no-one else was putting that kind of music out on a radio show. To be able to share those depths of your record box with such a large following is a must I think! Thanks for everything you do.
That's a great idea but currently Hernan is on another continent and there are many travel restrictions around the world even for collabs that are closer to home. But definitely something for the future :)
Sir Warren , you are doing more then enough!!! , it’s far from easy to keep your self motivated when the industry is in coma, why ever you do is a bliss , stay safe
I’d really like it if you adopted the Digweed model of simply spending an hour a week sharing the tracks you love this week. Like John, you are someone whose impeccable taste in electronic music I respect. Forget about “putting together a mix” with all the prep that that entails. If you’ve got 10ish tracks you love this week, just mix them together, perhaps with some light commentary, and share. I’ll happily listen to this every week.
Hi Nick. I think I’m gonna need to hear some more progressive house from you. There is a hole in my iphone cause i can’t stop tapping “Nick Warren podcast” for yeares!
Hi Nick, I loved the latest mix, really great and interesting selection of tracks. In the old Frisky Radio / Soundgarden days you generally started with an hour of more chilled tracks to start, followed by an hour of more heavy dancefloor stuff. I do love both, but I'm personally missing the dancefloor (physically and sonically). This might not be the type of answer you're looking for but I would request more of the latter in the next mix please!
Outside of the Soundgarden mix, how about an influences series (I really enjoyed some of the SG mixes you did about tracks that inspired you), interviews and insight to your career and journey and maybe others such as Hernan? (I'd love to know how you met, became friends, and your experience and adventures in S.America) Or a showcase of your labels tracks and artists. Oooh and if I could ask for anything, I would love to see you do a proper dancefloor b2b set with Tripswitch. That would be a dream!
Nick Warren became one of the first so-called "superstar DJs" in the mid-to-late '90s, holding down a high-profile residency at Cream in England, touring around the world, and appearing on several DJ mix albums before they became commonplace. Then, through a combination of providing acclaimed mixes for Mixmag, DMC, and the Global Underground series, and releasing a string of club-smashing solo singles, Warren found himself catapulted into the electronic big leagues; and, by continuing to release acclaimed albums, singles, and remixes with his Way Out West partner-in-crime, Jody Wisternoff, he firmly established himself as a truly multi-faceted producer of top-quality dance music.
Mix Cloud should check Apple Payment. It doesnt works properly. I hope this info be helpfull.
Dear Nick, thank for your Music.

Ok :)
How about a cosmic disco mix?
Yessss in the works already but I struggle to find a lot of good cosmic disco material unfortunately.

Great idea!
I would love to listen to club type sets sometimes, something to dance. I completely trust you Nick, I know I'm in good hands.
Thanks Ruben!! I'll bring out a clubby set soon too :)

Thanks very much! I'm going through all my vinyl now so plenty more of ambient and downtempo coming :)
Any chance of doing a Mixcloud weekly or monthly live mix mate ?
Yes looking into the live streams, Steve. My main concern with those is that it disappears right after airing, which seems like a bit of a shame.
What about some B2B mixes with other artists? I loved your b2b sets with Hernan.
That's a great idea but currently Hernan is on another continent and there are many travel restrictions around the world even for collabs that are closer to home. But definitely something for the future :)
Perhaps an Influences mix? Music that got you to where you are now..
Working on this!! :)

Also love this idea.
Great idea Dan, both Nick and John are legends and this would be fantastic
That is a great idea! Would feel interactive that way, on a new level.
Thanks Dan, love this!
This idea is great
