Eric Potter aka DJ Mr. E recently dubbed “King of Blends” by a fellow DJ has had an ear for music since the age of 5, Eric’s father was a major influence in his chosen craft in addition to growing up with the offspring of some Chicago’s legendary artists such as Curtis Mayfield, Eric was given Carte Blanche to every genre of music his friends were privy to. Using that open ticket access to many albums, Eric took his God given talent and used it to his advantage. Having been schooled at Hales Franciscan High School & maintaining a love for House Music, it was inevitable that he form a relationship with fellow DJ Kirkland Townsend (known for Mendel Bi-Level parties). That relationship/friendship has afforded him the opportunity to make his chosen craft a more than just a hobby. After becoming a father, DJ Mr. E took a break from full time spinning but has always maintained his skills over the years.
