Asked to describe what makes him a great DJ, Mario McQuay stated that “Two of my strongest features as a DJ are my natural talent for ‘reading’ the crowd, and my great love and understanding of a whole range of musical styles.” Mario is no newcomer to the DJ community, with years of experience doing events across the country.
Mario’s DJ career has spanned more than 25 years and he’s still going strong! In addition to spinning various events, Mario has hosted podcasts, and mixed on live radio 88.3 FM (The Edge – Springfield, Illinois & WGCI Radio – Chicago, Illinois).
Mario states, “I'm driven by the thrill of the crowd; when they hear me energize the dance floor with great baselines, smooth vocals, and music mixed in key, their excitement becomes part of the mix!”
