I grew up listening to music. My mother loved Natalie Cole and my father loved Curtis Mayfield amongst other artists. I remember when I was about 4 years old loving Aretha Frankin's song "Day Dreaming" and thinking back I was way ahead of my time. When I turned 8, I purchased the song "in the Bottle" and when I turned 13, I purchased the song "Dazz" so I've always had a love for music. I decided to become a DJ because I feel like there's something missing. I enjoy when I go out but sometimes it's not soulful enough for me. I used to look forward to hearing Frankie Crocker on the ride at 5/6. He was the best!!! I play to please the Grown & Sexy because that's who I am.
