The passion for electronic dance music that took root in his early teens blossomed after being exposed to the underground dance music scene. Many events and many years later, the raver stepped behind the DJ booth.

After teaching himself the basic mechanics of mixing, DJ McCooey has branched out to a variety of venues, and held a club residency for two years in Keene, NH. Although he enjoys and mixes many genres of electronic music, he soon came to specialize as a house and techno DJ.
