Matt Caine has been a loyal and avid music fan for as long as he can remember. His passion for electronic music arose when he was a teenager when Trance and Hard Dance dominated the Calgary scene. As time passed his preference for deep house naturally progressed.
In 1999 Matt sought out mentorship from local hero Cary Chang. As years passed Matts DJ'ing progressed from hard-house to trance to house. In 2009 Matt made a progression into producing as he found a natural knack and talent in it. WIth mentorship from Etric Lyons (Kush) and Jon Delerious (Nordic Trax and Lost My Dog) Matt has developed his own sound and is not to be missed. With EPs coming out in the near future Matt is a household name to look out for.
Matt DJs alongside resident Jon Delerious every Friday at the Bamboo Tiki Room, where it is the second longest residency in Calgary. With monthly bookings throughout Calgary's house hot spots, Matts sets always gets the dance floor moving.
