I first visited Brazil sometime around 2001 and absolutely fell in love with its culture. A culture profoundly centred around music. A sound that, to me, felt like jazz made love to the ocean while listening to African rhythms.

Caipirinha is a renowned Brazilian cocktail made with cachaça, sugar and lime. Caipirinha, the mix, is a carefully selected journey through Brazilian and Latin downtempo, with a twist of sweetness from around the world.

My obsession with Brazil remains, and I'm re-sharing this mix (previously only available on CD) to celebrate the recent victory of President Lula, securing a historic fourth term as president of my beloved Brazil.
