First introduced to the art of djing back in 1994, DJ Linx has been intricately involved in the Toronto hip-hop community ever since and has stayed true to his art all the way through. Over the years Linx has strived to master his craft, performing across Canada, the U.S. and Japan, and sharing the stage with the likes of Nas, Wu-Tang, KRS-One, MF Doom, Boot Camp, Mos Def and many other industry talents. He has recorded his signature scratches on songs for Masta Ace, O.C. and Organized Konfusion to name a few. Linx is also the DJ for the highly acclaimed Brooklyn-based hip hop producer Marco Polo. In 2005, DJ Linx launched The Mixtape Massacre radio show on Toronto’s most renowned college radio station, CKLN 88.1fm. In 2007, Linx was honoured with a Juno nomination for ‘Best Rap Album of the Year’ for his work on Marco Polo’s Port Authority album as Executive Producer and DJ.
