Lina Luv recently re-rooted onto unceded Hodïnohsö:ni’ land. She is devoted to weaving the music that moves her soul with your dancefloor spirit into a healing ritual. Lina Luv is in service to the offering of this music and the communion of love, music, and dance that it inherently brings, connecting and empowering people together. She sees music and dance as expressions of joy, liberation, and resistance!
Her musical selections interlace rhythms of African diaspora folk together in its myriad of iterations. Honoring the sources of this music and the people and cultures who have created it, she intends that the voices and souls of these ancestors and traditions be heard through their universal musical vibrations.
Lina Luv’s DJ roots grew on Lenapehoking land (Philadelphia), where she performed and produced collaborative fundraising community events with other artists and musicians at local venues and festivals.
