DJ KATarina is one of the hottest rising female DJ’s in Los Angeles . No stranger to the music business, she has over 10 years experience starting as a Music Supervisor for MTV - creating sounds for “The Real World” and other MTV shows. Her love for music started immediately - Even at the age of 5 she was spinning for her family. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for music and discovered the local club scene. Beyond MTV she was hired as a consultant for Ben Stiller, E ! TV and MCA Soundtracks. She has consulted music for Hip Hop fitness star, Milo Levell, Louis Van Amstel of "Dancing with the Stars", and recording artist Traci Lords. She has been featured on radio, 2010 Sundance, Santa Barbara Film Festivals, Philip Simon/ Ed Hardy, resident DJ "Chicks w/Decks" and Fluxus Brand w/ celebrity Jeffrey Sebelia. Recently, KATarina shared decks with Sandra Collins at Vanguard LA, Joshua Heath and Lars Behrenroth, and headlined at Nikki Beach August 2010.
