Hi, I’m Rico — born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York, and powered by rhythm! Growing up in the heart of the NYC salsa movement, I fell in love with Latin music and dance at an early age. After graduating from a New York City community college, I began a 20-year military career in Nov 1981 that took me to Germany and live there for 34 years where I traveled all over Europe and brought the fire of salsa to clubs across the continent as a DJ. Now living in sunny Florida, I keep the energy alive, spinning the best of salsa, Latin beats, and party vibes at private events and local venues. I speak both English and Spanish, and as a true Cancer, I pour heart, passion, and soul into every set I play. Whether I’m behind the turntables or on the dance floor, I live to make people move and feel the rhythm of life.
