An 26 year vet in the game, J.Re's djing interest started to take shape after getting a job at Believe in Music in Grand Rapids, MI in 1993. By '96 he bought his first pair of 1200's and has always used them since. He started off playing hip hop, rocking shows and promoting other dj's and artist. A trip out to LA, also in '96 introduced him to drum & bass, which quickly became his second love. Under the moniker "Justin David" he dj'd weekly shows playing multiple sets of drum & bass and hip hop. In 2000, a dj friend gave him a stack of house records and he found his new love. While he will always love hip hop and drum & bass, house music is where his heart is now.
