Originally started off as a MC back in the 90's but switched to the turntables by the mid nineties. For me djing is no different from being a musician although some people would beg to differ. The artform that is turntablism allows me to express who I am more than words. Its about the journey a mix can take you on. Music makes you feel a certain way, generates emotions, memories, thoughts and most importantly dance.
In1996 I alongside Marcus Intalex (Soul:r)
created one of Manchester's most ground-breaking Drum & Bass events - GUIDANCE at Sankeys Soap.
For 4yrs Guidance hosted the most prestigious djs and record labels on the dnb circuit, from LTJ Bukem, Doc Scott, Bryan G, Jumpin Jack Frost,
Grooverider, Fabio, Metalheadz, VRecordings and many more. In 1999 Guidance was voted Manchesters' clubnight of the year by city life magazine.
