DJ Insomnia, a one man show that has catapulted his career through his notoriously known unique style of blending records and cutting them up to create new sounds. At the early age of 7, DJ Insomnia was constantly listening to the radio as DJs Riz, Skribble, Funkmaster Flex, Danny Tsettos, Red Alert, and so many more tore down the radio waves with their quick switch of records and seamless blends. He was fascinated by DJs and their manipulation of records.

It wasn’t until March of 1999 when DJ Insomnia was able to convince his Dad to purchase him two technic turntables and a mixer. Days, weeks, and months passed as DJ Insomnia sat in his basement, honing his skills to become one of today’s top South Asian DJs. The saying goes practice makes perfect. To this day, you can find Insomnia practicing in his basement as he did 12 years ago; constantly working on perfecting the craft in which he has fallen in love with.
