DJ, label owner, producer, promoter, journeyman, and in his core still that kid from New York (who just happens to live in Germany now)… That’s Iggy Z, in a nutshell.
In 2012, Igor moved from NYC to Frankfurt, Germany and jumped right into the turmoil- in what was not necessarily a culture shock, but nevertheless a new experience for him; As the deep house and tribal house vibes that he was used to from the states were infused with the infamous teutonic techno sounds that hail from the German nation. Iggy embraced that culture and immersed himself right into it, adopting a more hard-hitting and relentless pace in his tune selection, while still maintaining his house origins whenever it suited the vibe!
Currently he works for a music tv channel (iM1) and travels the worlds’ hotspots, trending locations, and festivals, always soaking up new influences and maintaining his status as one of Frankfurts most exciting “newcomers” in the techno scene.
