Born in Kingston, Jamaica and transplanted to Jamaica, Queens, New York City, DJ GrooveHeart has roots that are grounded in the classics. Whether it’s soul, R&B, funk, disco, house, pop, rock or hip-hop, she finds the beats to get you moving, body and soul. Now based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, DJ GrooveHeart has performed at The Shipyards, Studio Records, Matches Eatery – Squamish/New Westminster, and Portside Pub, where she won the Open Table Vol. 3 DJ Competition in 2017. GrooveHeart was also the feature DJ keeping the music pumping at the beach volleyball tournament for the 2017 Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg, MB.
