Began DJing in 1987 after a misspent youth in punk bands, and hanging around mid 80's dance clubs in Manchester and London.
Gripper spent the rave era running events and playing music around the northwest of England and beyond
Began producing music in the early 90s across a wide range of undergrougenres and tempos.
Gripper has played at clubs such ass Precinct 13, Sankeys, Friends & Family, Deaf Institute (Manchester) - KoKo, Fabric, Gardening Club, Gas Club, 93 Feet East, Happiness Stans, Jazz Cafe (London) - Cafe Mambo, Es Paradis, Savannah, Cafe Paradise, WOM, Pikes (Ibiza) and many more worldwide.
He has released music on labels such as Grand Central, Om, Offworld Sounds, Fat City, Bottom Line Records, Dancefloor USA, Nunorthern Soul etc
As well as playing alongside many of the club scenes biggest names, more recently he's run his own private members club and hosted artists such as Victor Simonelli, Crazy P, Don Letts, Luke Una, Ruf Dug, Natasha Kitty Katt, PBR Streetgang,
