DJ FriendZone (Paul Mayer) is an Electrical Engineer by day and a DJ by night, spinning a variety of genres for whatever the occasion. He has played dozens of events: everything from bars, parties, and product launches. Consulting as a mixing engineer and producer, he has worked with Houston-based acts such as Kid Fig and The Phils. Outside of the DJ Booth, he is pursuing a PhD at Rice University.
DJ FriendZone likes to mix it up, playing everything from Hip-Hop/Rap to Pop/Top 40 and Dance/EDM. By working with event planners and reading the crowd, he is equipped to provide entertainment for almost any occasion. Most of all, he loves making people dance.
