Cologne, Germany
DJ Freegah is a Nigerian open-format DJ based in Cologne, known for warm, high-energy sets that respond to the crowd and the atmosphere in the room. He plays Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, House, classics and guest requests, while incorporating Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afrohouse whenever they fit the celebration. In 2022, he was voted Germany’s Best Afro DJ by the African community.
For DJ Freegah, open format means not being limited to one particular genre. Instead, he reads the dance floor and plays the music that brings people together and keeps them moving — from wedding classics and current chart hits to international and global sounds.
