DJ Flemingo received his DJ name from a 1984 Gary Marshall film called “The Flamingo Kid”. At the age of 16 Flemingo was already gaining street recognition and entering DJ Battles; and it was at one of those battles that he won first place and became the house DJ for a local nightclub. Flemingo's ability to move the crowd and music selection quickly caught the attention of one Def Jam representative Kevin Lyles. Flemingo worked for Def Jam for about 2 years and has worked with many artist like Foxy Brown, Redman, Montell Jordan, Case, & LL Cool J.

I feel I should be a LUCKY BASTID because no matter if I win or loose, my performance will always be remembered!
