David "DJ DV8" Algarin began his dj career back in 1989 when he was 12. It all started when he attended teen clubs around the bay area (The Krush, Sponges, Makos Seminole, just to name a few) and listening to the Friday Night Power Jams. You can find him at the Dj booth studying while his boys were chasing all the girls.

Starting with a belt driven turntable, tape player and a cd player, David began djaying house partys all around the block and at Sunblades roller rink. It wasn't until he reached the age of 16 where he got a job and purchased his first direct drive turntables.

Fast forward to today's digital world, you can find him in the lab recording local artists, making mixes for his Mixcloud page, djaying private parties, local events and working on his very own tracks for publication.
